Annual Kootenay Women Summit

Location: Prestige Mountain Resort, Rossland, BC

Date: October 16-17, 2025

The Kootenay Women Summit is vital for empowering women entrepreneurs, business owners, and creatives in the Kootenay Region, a geographically dispersed community where women often face isolation, limited resources, and barriers to leadership opportunities. Through surveys, feedback, and conversations with local women, the need for connection, skill development, and mentorship emerged as a top priority.

These summits benefit women seeking to grow their businesses or advance their careers by providing actionable tools, inspiration, and a strong network of support. The broader community, including local businesses and service providers, will also gain from increased economic activity and strengthened regional collaboration.

The community will support the project through partnerships with local organizations, sponsorships, and participation as speakers, facilitators, and volunteers. This collaborative effort will ensure the summit addresses the region’s unique challenges while creating lasting benefits for participants and the broader Kootenay community.
