Kootenay Women in Business is committed to creating spaces, events, and conversations that honour diversity, belonging, and mutual respect. We celebrate the richness of our community and warmly welcome women of all races, cultures, backgrounds, abilities, ages, sexual orientations, gender expressions, and gender identities.

We are dedicated to fostering an environment where all attendees, speakers, partners, volunteers, and collaborators feel safe, seen, and supported. Discrimination, harassment, or exclusion of any kind has no place in our community.

Kootenay Women in Business acknowledges that our gatherings and initiatives take place on the unceded, ancestral, and traditional territories of the Ktunaxa Nation, including the Yaqan Nukiy people. We honour and respect the Indigenous Peoples who have stewarded this land since time immemorial and commit to ongoing learning, respect, and reconciliation. We will continue to acknowledge these unceded territories at our events and gatherings.
